It's All About the Butterflies...

Tell me who doesn't love butterflies? Who doesn't stop when they see them fluttering by? Who isn't awed by the beautiful colors? When one catches my eye, it doesn't matter what I'm doing, I have to stop tp watch it. Their colors are so vibrant, their patterns absolutely beautiful, ahh mother nature how I love thee.

Many people have told me that when they see a butterfly it's their loved
one that has passed. Knowing this, I tend to talk to them and ask how they are doing, shhh don't tell anyone they may think I'm crazy.

With this said, I am going to say Stampin' Up! must have mutual feeling for butterflies.  Many of their stamp sets include a butterfly or two.  Some are solely dedicated to these beautiful creatures.  Other sets have them as little accents.  They also offer punches and dies.  But no matter what, you will not find two of a kind.  And if you have the Occasions Catalog you will see they also have an incredible thinlit die set of butterflies with a coordinating stamp set. OH MY! Well, you know what happened when I seen it, PURCHASED!  With my "Full Schedule" I haven't been able to play with it as much as I would like, but here are some things I have made.

Thanks for looking!
If you're not stampin', you should be!

TIP OF THE DAY:  Did you know there's a super easy way to punch out those very detailed thinlit dies? No more sitting there with a paper piercher punching out all those tiny pieces.  All it takes is the perfect layered sandwich which includes a dryer sheet.  NOTE: Dryer sheet must be unscented.  So here's the sandwich for the Big Shot.  Magnetic Platform, Standard Cutting Pad, dryer sheet folded in half, Single sheet card stock, Framelits Die, Standard Cutting Pad. Run it through and then back again, needs to go through the rollers twice.  When it comes out, all those little pieces are stuck to the dryer sheet!!!
